Provide one of the following forms of valid photo I.D. that is not expired:
If the photo I.D. does not include your current Texas address, include a separate document to validate this information
- Government issued identification card
- Any state driver's license
- Any state or city identification card

Minors who are not accompanied by a parent or guardian will not be able to sign up but are encouraged read books in-house.
While we are at our temporary location, you can sign up as long as you have a Galveston County address. When we reopen, we will ask to see a form of ID that has your picture and current address on it.
If you are a minor that has signed up for an eCard, your parent or guardian must be present when retrieving your library card.
