Currently, our library is using the Tabbed Layout for all its guides. We are not using the CMS version of LibGuides, but we can customize LibGuides to met our needs going forward. Generally, with the Tabbed Layout, we either use a 2-column or single column layout when creating guides. We utilize the other column layout if we are displaying books.

I can not stress the importance of having a Style Guide when you start the planning process of designing your layout for your LibGuides or any of the Springshare services. It defines who you are. In most cases, for educational institutions, the university will already have a Style Guide for the library.
