About the Friends

What we do

The Friends of the Dickinson Public Library is a non-profit, non-political organization with these major purposes and objectives:

  • To maintain, encourage, and assist a friendly association of  persons interested in books and libraries.
  • To focus public attention on services, resources, and needs of the public library.
  • To stimulate benefactions such as gifts, memorials, endowments, and bequests.
  • To work toward the enrichment of the library services, and to support the total library program.

Meetings are on the third Monday of every other month at 10:00am in the Dickinson Public Library Community Room.
